Investigating a brand in order to interpret an anti-brand. I focused on particular brands who use a substance known as Mica in their products. It is unknowingly sourced in India in child labouring mines for as little as 23p per day. Through the use of typeface choices, format and layout, I wanted to reflect the tunnels of the mines and their tight working conditions in my typographic response by creating a series of long format posters showing how unpredictable these working conditions are. The positioning on tall buildings plays an important part of creating natural lighting and shadows on the posters. It creates a sense of being trapped deep down at the bottom and the light at the top is too hard to reach.
